### 🌱 From Sustainability Goals to Sustainable Project Delivery
Sustainability is increasingly becoming part of how organizations define project success, make investment decisions, and deliver long-term value.
But how do project professionals move sustainability from a broad organizational ambition to something that can be incorporated into the way projects, products, and technology are actually delivered?
In this session, Carol Dekkers introduces the Green Tech Trifecta, bringing together complementary approaches from PMI and Green Project Management (GPM), the Agile Sustainability Manifesto, and the Green Software Foundation (GSF).
Participants will explore how these approaches can work together to help project and technology professionals make sustainability a practical part of project delivery rather than an afterthought.***
### 📌 About the Session
Sustainability does not have to sit outside the traditional responsibilities of project and agile professionals. It can be considered alongside value, risk, quality, delivery, and long-term impact.
This session will explore three complementary perspectives that can help professionals incorporate sustainability into their work:
🌿 Sustainable Project Management – exploring approaches and practices for integrating sustainability into project decision-making and delivery
🔄 Agile Sustainability – considering how agile principles and ways of working can support sustainable outcomes
💻 Green Software – examining how technology and software decisions can contribute to more environmentally responsible digital solutions
Together, these approaches form a Green Tech Trifecta that connects project management, agility, and technology.
Carol will highlight the models, resources, and professional development opportunities available across these areas and demonstrate how they can complement one another to support more sustainable project outcomes.
Most importantly, participants will explore how to get started now, regardless of where their organization currently sits on its sustainability journey.***
