Because you asked! We're making 'Eats from Italy'!

Details
HI LADIES! At our last France meetup, there were quite a few ladies who commented that we should do Italy next! I heard ladies say "I wouldn't even care if the whole table was pasta" :):) and I heard promises of people speaking Italian if we did an Italy night and I heard lots of mention of Lucy's name :):):):) So here we go .... let's do some awesome Italian bakes!! Please read EVERYTHING! Thank you!
Just like last time, so many options here, and although we are a baking group, if you would like to explore some other styles of cooking, feel free! Here are a few BLOGS you might enjoy perusing! I'm sure there are many other resources! Feel free to post your faves!

BAKERS: Choose an Italian recipe - savory, sweet, pastry, dessert, anything! Make sure to comment what you are bringing so we don't have duplicates!
TASTERS: Please bring one of the following supply contributions to the Meetup: a small box of disposable eating utensils (white or clear), hot cups with lids, cold cups, a pack of napkins (white), ground coffee, regular or decaf (no more keurig), tea bags, or coffee filters. These donations will be integrated into the supplies that we share with the church for future use. Please COMMENT what you will be bringing - duplicates are OK.
$ CONTRIBUTIONS: Attendees can contribute $3-$5 at each event (contribution box provided - honor system!). Meetup expenses add up, and the cost to organize a group increases each year. If you would like to see what your contribution is going towards, you can click on the link below (the link doesn't always work on mobile devices). All expenses from the beginning of this group are recorded. Online contributions are listed under "contributions". Specific "year long" donations are listed by person. Cash donations are listed under "other income" : https://www.meetup.com/Bakers-and-Tasters/money
RSVP:
*If you are a first timer and you add a +1 to your RSVP, please make sure your friend is female. We like to keep this meetup a ladies night out!
*Please change your rsvp ahead of time if you cannot attend. Please do not wait until the last minute. This makes it hard for people on the waitlist to plan and prepare. No-shows make it impossible for others to attend. If you don't show up for a meetup or back out last minute, I will move you to the wait list for the next meetup to give others a chance.
PROVIDED:
*Serving utensils, paper plates, water, coffee, tea. I only ask that at the end of the night everyone clean up and take home their own serving dishes and platters along with any leftovers. If you use one of our serving utensils, please take a moment to wash it and put it back into the box or drawer. Please note: take out containers are no longer provided, but you may certainly bring one!
WHAT TO BRING:
- Your dish
- Serving utensils (or you can grab one from our collection, use it, wash it, and return it to the box at the end of the night.)
- A TAKE OUT CONTAINER - Take out containers are no longer provided. If you are interested in leftovers, please be sure to pack your own container!
- $3-$5 donation (unless you gave me a lump sum) - VenMo code will also be available.
- YOUR APPETITE! YOUR SMILE!
Looking forward to seeing everyone!! Happy Baking! :):)
