Fall Baking and Mystery Ingredients!

I absolutely love Fall baking - I am already planning my first apple pie of the season :). For this event, we will enjoy some Fall Baking with a twist! Post your dish by October 5th (a week before) - sweet or savory Fall dishes. After you post your dish, I will message you a random and clickable mystery ingredient which you will need to incorporate into the dish you already posted. It may be challenging - and your secret ingredient does not have to be the star of the show - but as we go around the room we will try and guess each other's secret ingredient! Let's have a little fun and enjoy a little "mystery" in light of Halloween season :). I would love as many bakers as possible to tackle this challenge! The more food the better for everyone - and don't worry - none of the secret ingredients will be weird, hard to find, or gross :). They will in fact be normal Fall ingredients ... some are simply spices - but perhaps not the easiest to incorporate into something you already planned :):). Let the Fall fun begin!!

BAKERS: Choose a recipe - savory or sweet! Make sure to comment what you are bringing so we don't have duplicates!

TASTERS: Please bring one of the following supply contributions to the Meetup: a small box of disposable eating utensils (white or clear), hot cups with lids, paper/plastic 9" or larger plates of any kind, cold cups, a pack of napkins (white), ground Maxwell House or Folgers Coffee - regular or decaf - (please do not bring other brands or special flavors since we are now sharing and replenishing supplies that also belong to the church), tea bags, or coffee filters. These donations will be integrated into the supplies that we share with the church for future use. Please COMMENT what you will be bringing - duplicates are OK.

$ CONTRIBUTIONS: Attendees should contribute $3-$5 at each event unless you already gave me one lump sum (contribution box provided - honor system!). Meetup expenses add up, and the cost to organize a group increases each year. RSVP:
*If you are a first timer and you add a +1 to your RSVP, please make sure your friend is female. We like to keep this meetup a ladies night out!

*Please change your rsvp ahead of time if you cannot attend. Please do not wait until the last minute. This makes it hard for people on the waitlist to plan and prepare. If you don't show up for a meetup or back out last minute, I will move you to the wait list for the next meetup to give others a chance.

PROVIDED:
*Serving utensils, paper plates, water, coffee, tea. I only ask that at the end of the night everyone clean up and take home their own serving dishes and platters along with any leftovers. If you use one of our serving utensils, please take a moment to wash it and put it back into the box or drawer. Please note: take out containers are no longer provided, but you may certainly bring one!

WHAT TO BRING:

• Your dish
• Serving utensils (or you can grab one from our collection, use it, wash it, and return it to the box at the end of the night.)
• A TAKE OUT CONTAINER - Take out containers are no longer provided. If you are interested in leftovers, please be sure to pack your own container!
