Balancers United: A Day of Giving Back

Details
Hi Balancers,
We believe connection means showing up, not just for each other, but for those having a harder time. That’s why, starting this August, we’re partnering with Refugee Community Kitchen for a monthly volunteering initiative.
On the last Thursday of every month, we’ll meet near Tottenham Court Road to buy essential food and clothing items, then head to Goodge Street to help distribute meals to people experiencing homelessness and displacement.
💛 What to Expect:
- A hands-on, meaningful evening of giving back
- Buying and distributing essential items to support people facing hardship
- Connecting with a community that believes in compassion through action
How It Works:
We’ll meet in front of the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Road, split into small groups, and shop for items like socks, T-shirts, toiletries, snacks, and non-perishables. If possible, please bring cash to make shopping quicker and easier.
Afterwards, we’ll head over to Goodge Street, where we’ll join Refugee Community Kitchen during their Thursday dinner service and help distribute what we’ve gathered.
