BaltiMORE FRIENDS is all about trying something new, meeting people with common interests, and building solid relationships. We host large events to get people mingling, then follow with small events to help everyone get to know one another.
What kinds of stuff do you do?
Everything. If it's more fun to do in a group, then we're into it. We're talking axe throwing, geocaching, cooking classes, fishing, improv comedy, farmer's markets, museums, murder mysteries, road trips, miniature golf, soapmaking, etc. The list is endless!
Can I make a suggestion or host an event myself?
Hell, yeah! We love when people get involved! Contact an Organizer to pitch your idea and let us know whether you want to run the event yourself or have one of us do it.
What if I don't know anyone or this is my first Meetup?
Awesome! Don't stress--everyone was new once, and we all became friends because we consistently spent time together. If you're still hesitant, sign up for one of the smaller events and contact the Organizer in advance so you have one familiar face/voice when you get there.
What is Adventure-Us?
Our sponsor is Adventure-Us, a Baltimore-based social and travel club. Think of it as Meetup on steroids--all of the fun, but none of the flakes. Adventure-Us hosts 8 in-person and 4 virtual events every month as well as domestic and international trips. Members pay dues of 20 whole dollars per month, but that just weeds out those who sign up but never show up. If you're ready for REAL FRIENDS (instead of the serial acquaintances Meetup is famous for), join today and become more Adventure-Us!

Virtual Music Exchange
·OnlineOnlineYou're the DJ at this virtual event! Create a YouTube playlist in advance with 9 songs, then post the link to the playlist in the comments below. During the Zoom, each person will have ten minutes to discuss their inspiration (e.g. favorite songs, highlighting a genre, lyrics with a theme, etc.) and to play 30-60 second snippets of each song to give everyone a taste of your taste in music. Let's get to know each other in this incredibly expressive and personal way!

Game Night at Blue Pit BBQ
Blue Pit BBQ & Whiskey Bar, 1601 Union Ave, Baltimore, MD, USGame Night is always a BLAST! We play strategy games like Settlers of Catan, card games like Hearts, party games Wits and Wagers, and we're open to anything. Please bring whatever game you're in the mood to play, and I bet we can find people who know it or want to learn. Please come, tell your friends, and bring whatever other games you guys want to try.
For the newbies, order food and drink downstairs, then come on up to the second floor to eat and play. Don't worry about having to come late or leave early--new groups form as games end and more people show up, and there is usually at least one party game going where it's easy to jump in and out. People are extraordinarily friendly, and everyone has a GREAT time!
THIS IS A KID-FRIENDLY EVENT. Feel free to bring your dependents as long as they are old enough to maintain attention and dine politely.
