Bay Area Mahjong Meetup

Come and learn or play mahjong at Union Square. Every Monday from 11:30 to 1:30 on the plaza in the SouthEast corner. We teach beginners to play Chinese style mahjong and open play for American and Chinese styles.

Come out and play or learn Mahjong. We will have Chinese and American style games on Monday evening from 6 to 9 pm. This will be at Mamahuhu restaurant in Noe Valley on 24th Street and Noe. Great food and drinks will be available for purchase. Some of the game tables will be in the parklet and may be a bit chilly. Wear layers. If you can make it please let us know if you are:
a) interested in learning Chinese Style
b) already a player familiar with Chinese Style
c) already a player of American/Jewish style Mahj with the 2023 NMJL card.

Come join us for a free weekly drop-in mahjong game by the bay. You can learn to play Chinese mahjong or join one of the open play tables of American or Chinese mahjong. We meet out by where you board the ferries on the plaza behind Book Passage near the Ghandi statue.
