Scores of companies, particularly from the IT, ITES and BT sectors, participate in marathons in large numbers to improve their brand visibility and team-building while effectively demonstrating their corporate social responsibility by associating with the city’s issues. A large number of NGOs and their celebrity supporters also participate in these marathons to raise funds and create awareness for their cause.
