Welcome to Bangkok Cinema Club 🎬
We're a group for people who love great films — and the good company that comes with watching them on the big screen.
We get together to see the kind of cinema that stays with you, and get to know each other along the way. It's a relaxed way to meet fellow film lovers in Bangkok.
We seek out the best of world cinema: European, Asian and American independent films, festival highlights and new releases, alongside classics worth re-watching. You won't find new Hollywood blockbusters here. There's plenty of that elsewhere.
🍿 How it works: You buy your own ticket for the film, and we meet at the cinema about an hour beforehand for a chat. Afterwards, anyone is welcome to join for a drink or a bite — to talk over what moved us, puzzled us, or left us cold.
We aim for screenings in the original language with English subtitles.
