Bangkok Creative Underground is a home for three kinds of fearless people: those who build worlds with their voices, those who build them on the page, and those who can talk about one thing for ten straight minutes and make you love it too.
Our improv nights are unscripted, unpolished, and gloriously alive. No lines to memorize, no fourth wall to hide behind, just you, a scene partner, and whatever the moment throws at you. Beginners welcome, ego optional.
Our writing sessions are the quieter sibling, a room of people chasing sentences, swapping pages, and getting honest feedback over coffee or something stronger. Bring a draft, a half-idea, or just the urge to start.

Improv Night: Get Up and Play!

This isn't a class, and it isn't a show. It's an activity we all do together. We're going to get up and play around, make scenes out of nothing, and see where they take us.
Some nights we'll start with simple games to shake the room loose. Other nights we'll dive straight into scenes and characters, building little worlds on the spot and tearing them down just as fast. There's no script to memorize, no right answer to find, and no audience judging from the dark. The only people watching are the ones taking their turn next.
New to this? Don't worry, we'll guide you so we can build something together. Not sure what you're doing? Don't worry, neither am I. We're making it up as we go along, and that's exactly where the fun lives. The best moments are the ones nobody planned. You'll surprise yourself, you'll laugh at things that make no sense out of context, and you'll leave a little lighter than you came in.
Come alone or drag a friend. Either way, you'll have a room full of new ones by the end. That's the improv way.

We read real stories from Reddit's most infamous forum, where people describe their own questionable behavior and ask the internet to judge them. Then we judge them. Together. Out loud.
No preparation, no experience, no Reddit account needed. Just show up, listen to some genuinely unhinged stories, and argue your verdict with a room full of strangers who will soon be friends. Is the bride overreacting? Is the roommate a monster? You decide.
Format: We read a story aloud, everyone votes, then we discuss (debate, argue, gasp). Expect laughter, moral philosophy, and at least one story that divides the room completely.
Free to attend. Event runs in English.
