What we’re about
Hi and welcome to Bangkok Runners.
Our group started running together in June 2012 and we have been steadily growing in numbers, meetups, events and distances run.
Several of us are training for events, several have run Ultra Marathons, several are just starting out and several are cross training for other events such as Triathlons.
We are really mixed in experience, goals, age and nationalities.
What unites us?
We enjoy running, we enjoy running together and enjoy meeting up whether running, eating or drinking.
If you would like to get fitter, stay fit, lose weight, run more, run more often, make some new friends, sweat more, or are just a bit crazy you will probably enjoy yourself, and we you.
If you are thinking about running but not sure about a group, please come and join us for 2-3 runs BEFORE signing up. All the details are on meetup, and you are welcome to come and join us for a run. After a few months we delete members who don't ever run or check the meetup website, just to keep email down and to be really clear who is interested and who is just thinking about it. The meetup system counts people as "Inactive" if they haven't checked into the website at least once in three months. These are the people who then tend to get deleted. If this happens, please don't take it personally, members are always welcome to sign up again when they have the time or extra motivation too.
Run and Have Fun!

Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Full Moon Bangkok Jungle Run - May 2025 (about 10 km) / Flower MoonSanphawut Pier, Bangkok
"Full Moon Bangkok Jungle Run - May 2025":
This will be a medium run (about 10 km max ... maybe).
Meeting time is before 18H30 at the 7/11 just before the entrance of Wat Bangna Nok at the Sanphawut Pier.
Just so we are all clear, it means, you need to be at the meeting point BEFORE 18H30. We will take the first ferry after 18h35 (5 THB).
Meeting point Location (at the 7/11):
https://goo.gl/maps/K1UUfYQ1VdB2 (https://goo.gl/maps/K1UUfYQ1VdB2)To go there, go to BTS BANGNA STATION and Take a Moto TAXI (20THB). Don't come by car or Taxi, as this road can be jammed at this time, and you won't make it on time. Alternatively, you could run but with the traffic, it's not really nice.
Just before the pier, about 100m, there is a 7/11. We meet there.

Just in case, here is my number: 086 008 5788 (Line/WhatsApp)
The pace will be slow but running pace, 6:30 to 7:30 min/km, I don't want to lose any runners ... it affects my ratings :-).
• Distance: about 10 km ... and we will finish at same starting Pier (Wat Bangna Nok)
• Pace: Slow (from 06:30 min/km to 07:30 min/km) . You can run faster, but don't call me if you get lost!
• Atmosphere: Social
• We might have a dinner/drinks after the run.
For those who sweat a lot like me, I suggest you take a t-shirt to change, as the humidity level can be high.
Hope you will enjoy this run and see you there ... before 18h30 :-)
Gonzague.
You would need:
• a headlamp or flashlight
• water, as the shop will be closing :-)
• not being scared of ghosts
• a mobile phone ... just in case, we lose you!
