Ajahn Jayanto is an American-born monk and has trained for over 25 years in Buddhist monasteries in the UK, Thailand, and other Asian countries. He will provide meditation instructions, conduct Question and Answer sessions and speak on the benefits of Buddhist practices and principles for our complex, modern lives. Ajahn Jayanto has helped to lead the efforts to establish a branch monastery in New England, and he now serves as an abbot of Temple Forest Monastery. This will be his first open retreat in Thailand and will be a good opportunity for us all to deepen our practice.
