From MRT Bangpho to MRT Taopoon

This walk we will start from Rajini pier by taking a boat to MRT Bangpho. Then we will visit;

• The old stupa is an octagonal chedi stands on bank of the river. Believed that it has been built during king rama 3 (1824-1851).
• Wat soi thong which translates as “golden necklace”. It has been built during king Mongkut around 1855. It is known for its tranquil atmosphere and stunning gilded spires.
• The wood shops street is a 1 km long. Along the way they sell all kind of wood and process product where people come to find wood to build or decorate their houses.
  On the way we also stop at the famous ice cream of Bangpho. At the end we will have Esan food before departing.
  As usual, kindly prepare 300 THB to join the tour. It pays for your great guide, it allows us to keep surveying and bring more tours in the future and for train and bus. As with previous tours, we kindly ask again to only RSVP Yes if you are sure you can make it.
