Kanchanaburi in west Thailand is a charming city known for its role during World War II. There are many things to do in Kanchanaburi. This time we will enjoy the full-day trip to Kanchanaburi. We are expecting to visit some of the most amazing destinations. Firstly we will stop at the Bridge on the River Kwai which missed the alliance bombing, and remains in place in Kanchanaburi as a tourist attraction and functioning railway bridge over which trains pass daily. Then we will take a scenic 1 hour train ride on the original Death Railway Path which is a horrendous part of Thailand’s history that was created by the blood and sweat of WWII prisoners of war and Asian slave laborers. After that we are visiting the hellfire pass. This is a part of the Death Railway that was constructed during the Second World War using POW labor to cut through the mountain. On the way back we will stop by at Meena cafe where is beautiful scenary of Wat Thamsue.
The ticket for this trip will be 1,200 THB. This will pay for your guide, the VIP van (+ driver + fuel+toll way and train fare, We will have lunch at restaurant near Saiyok waterfall. This lunch is not included in the ticket price. Other personal purchases also are not included either.
