Bangkok Walking Adventures

This walk we will explore Bang O and Bang Phlat district. Even rapid growth in Thonburi but Bangphlat district still keep uniqe and charming green area. We are meandering and expecting to visit :-

• Wat Awut Wikasitaram , even less known than famous temples on central Bangkok the gorgeous architecture and tranquility make it beautiful spot to escape from bustling city center.
  - Visit a village making Kite and Khon mask.
  - Having coffee at Jung cafe is located in fruit and flowers garden.
  - One of the oldest mosque , Bang Or mosque in Thonburi was built to host a community of Persian traders who fled after the destruction of Ayutthaya. Built in Neo classic style which is popular during Rama 5 era or 1880-1920.

• Total distance will be about 3.5km, so it will probably finish in less than 3.5 hours. If it looks like sunny on that day, don't forget to bring the necessary clothing and/or attributes (cap, umbrella, ...). Please bring 300 THB for your tour guide. The refreshments along the route can be paid individually, as you see fit (some people might not wish to sample all of them, even though they are really delicious). And ... as with every other previous walk, we would like to ask to PLEASE leave home on time. When that should be, depends on where you live, but unless you live nearby, we suggest leaving AT LEAST an hour beforehand. The guide can wait for 5 minutes but then the group will leave. Also, kindly RSVP no later than 7pm the day before.

This walk on Mother day, we are going to survey two villages Bang Phi and Bang Kha. We will walk along klong Pasi Charoen which was built since King Rama 4 to connect Choa Praya and Thacheen river. We will stop by some temples and have a coffee break at Kum Rak cafe by the canal. At first part we will survey Bang phai district after that then take the bus to Bang Khae.
Bring your camera, hat or umbrella just come to enjoy the atmosphere (and maybe some of the coffee or snacks that are available along the way). As usual, kindly prepare 300THB to join the tour. It pays for your great guide, and it allows us to keep surveying and bring more tours in the future.

It is time to escape heat and bustling from Bangkok. This trip we are going to Ko Sichang is a small island of historical importance and residence of three kings of Thailand from Rama 4 to 6.. It is also the birthplace of the son of King Rama 5 Prince Chudadhuj. Chudaghuj palace was relocated to Bangkok as Vimanmak palace as you might ever visit.
We will take a ferry from land to island. Then rent songtwae travel around the island and also having lunch by the ocean. We are expecting to visit 4 places on the island for taking photos, knowing of historical and beautiful nature.
The ticket for this trip will be 950 THB. This will pay for your guide, the VIP van (+ driver + fuel), ferry to the island and songtwae. We will be visiting a restaurant overlooking the ocean for lunch, which provides great seafood. You can choose your own lunch here - this lunch is not included in the ticket price. Any personal shopping is naturally not included either.
