• The class is taught in English
• Please RSVP so we can keep the group balanced
• Doors open at 16:00.
• Doors close at 16:15, be punctual.

This free beginner salsa class is perfect if you want to learn Salsa LA style & Cuban, try dancing for the first time, and meet new people in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Whether you’ve just moved to the city, are looking to make new friends, or simply want to start dancing, this class is designed to be easy, social, and pressure-free.

No previous dance experience needed.
It is mandatory to fill out your information about roles (leader/follower), so that we know the numbers of participants for each role.

The focus is on learning the fundamentals while enjoying the social side of dancing.

You can come alone or with a partner. We rotate partners when exercises allow it, so everyone gets a chance to practice and connect.

Important note about class balance
This salsa class is free, which means we cannot control or guarantee the balance between leaders and followers in advance. We also cannot predict exactly who will show up on the day.
For that reason, admission to the class will be based on arrival time.
Once the class reaches maximum capacity, with a balanced number of participants, we may not be able to let more people join.
We understand this can sometimes be frustrating, but this is the fairest way for us to keep the class balanced, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.
Please arrive on time to secure your spot.

I am in the waiting list. Should I still come to the class?
We try to keep the classes as balanced as possible, so if we notice we are getting too many leaders/followers we move people around to waitlist.
Sadly not everyone who signed up attends the class, so you can always still show up and see if there is a shortage of leaders/followers.

Want to increase your odds to get a spot for the class?
Then we highly suggest to come with a partner (leader+follower), as we always give them priority.

Why am I in the waiting list I was earlier/first?
There is two reasons, either you have attended the class before or, more likely, you didn't show up to a class you signed up for before.

Our classes are free, we do this as volunteers and because we love to introduce people to dancing.
When you take a spot and don't cancel your attendance in a timely manner or at all it means you took a spot that someone else would have gladly taken, so we kindly ask you to change your RSVP accordingly.
