Hi everyone,
Apparently running together wasn't enough.
So Nomad House x BCN Globals are taking things back to the beach, this time with a net, a volleyball, and the completely reasonable expectation that some of us will suddenly believe we're professional athletes.
Welcome to SEA, NETS & SUN, our social beach volleyball tournament.
Lucas told me the idea is pretty simple:
Come play.
Meet people.
Get some sun.
Hit a volleyball in approximately the direction you intended.
We're playing 4 vs 4, with an Americana-style rotation. That means you'll switch teams throughout the morning, so you don't need to bring a partner or organize your own team.
You'll play with and against different people every round.
Beginners are absolutely welcome. You don't need experience, just enough energy to get yourself to the beach before 9:00 on a Sunday.

We know.
But we'll finish before the sand becomes approximately the temperature of the sun, so your feet will thank us later.
Sunday, 9:00 to 11:30
We'll play around five 15-20 minute matches with breaks in between for water, bananas and recovering from the athletic career you didn't know you had.
Your €8 ticket includes:
• Net setup and reserved playing space
• Volleyballs
• Water & bananas
• Referee & coaching
• Music
• Prizes for the winners
Everything will already be set up. You just need to show up and play.
This event is organized together by Nomad House x BCN Globals, bringing both communities together for a social Sunday morning by the sea.
Spots are limited so everyone actually gets enough playing time.
Registration is through Luma. A Meetup RSVP alone does not reserve your place.
