Wuthering Heights (136') - feat. A Romance Court bookshop
Cinemes Girona, C. Girona 175, Barcelona, ESA truly scandalous and steamy adaptation of a book that was called too vulgar and erotic for its time. Emerald Fennell presents her passion project - a romance film loosely inspired by Emily Brontë's 1847 novel Wuthering Heights. The screening is in English with Spanish subtitles. You are to buy your own ticket for the screening around 16:00 (TBA), after the show we plan to gather at A Romance Court bookshop (Carrer Monistrol, 1) to discuss the movie
The film stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, Anthony Willis composed the score for the film, while Charli XCX contributed an album of original songs, including hits "House" and "Chains of Love"
