Inferno: Robotic Exoskeleton Performance at Gray Area Festival

Details

Gray Area Festival is proud to present robotic music performance Inferno, by artists Louis-Philippe Demers and Bill Vorn, for its US debut in San Francisco.

An exhilarating show featuring you as a performer — in a robotic exoskeleton. Give in to a machine’s control as an Exoskeleton Performer, if you dare. Featuring 12 machine-powered exoskeletons, Inferno offers a uniquely interactive experience in that audience members, clad in mechanical suits, will be part of the performance.

Participating audience members will be suited in wearable exoskeletons, designed to perform dynamic movements choreographed and activated by the artists throughout the performance. Shifting the command from artist to computer and role of audience to performer, Inferno questions the nature of control and agency in the landscape of technology and performance today. At the frontier of art, technology, and music, this interactive performance poses a remarkably unique experience questioning our world in its transformation.

Extremely limited number of tickets available for 10 shows only.
