Let's meet up and enjoy the great outdoors together. *Please note that I am currently unable to attend the hikes myself at present due to family and work obligations, but I am keeping the Meetup running for those who want to continue to get together for a hike. Let's meetup at Centennial Park Beach on the Barrie waterfront to connect with others, reconnect with our body, and to appreciate the benefits of breathwork, mindful movement, and cold exposure. We'll get started around 8AM, after the hugs and introductions. There’s parking right there and plenty of alternative parking if the lot is full.
This session includes:
•Mobility Warmup: I will guide you through a series of movements to warm up, increase circulation and encourage mind-body connection.
•Breathwork: Conscious Connected Breathing to energize your body and quiet your mind.
•Cold Dip / Swim: Enjoy the energizing benefits of cold exposure by taking a quick dip in the lake, while being guided with your breathing and sensation awareness. (This Meetup will continue through the warm season as well... it will just be a warmer swim, with more focus on the breathwork)
The session will last about 1 hour, allowing for time to hang out and warm up after.
Note: this is a regular weekly session (yep, that's year-round, rain, snow or sunshine!); it helps to keep it up during the warm season and to allow time for your body to adapt as the fall and winter approach. Although there may be an occasional weekend where I may not be able to make it, I encourage participants to come out regardless, to move, breathe, and enjoy a brisk dip!

What to bring:
- Comfortable athletic clothing (we do some yoga and stretching)
- Warm sweater / hoodie (you might get chilly during the breathing exercises)
- Bathing suit and towels (one to dry off with, and you may want another to lie on)
- Water shoes, or old sneakers (or neoprene diving boots if you want)
- Water bottle
- Thermos of something warm
- Yoga mat or thick towel (for outdoor use, it will get dirty!)
- Snack for after... at least for yourself, but you can bring something to share if you like.
- Courage and a warm heart!
