Willkommen bei AI@iRIX - English below
Willkommen in der Basler AI-Community. Wir sind ein offener Kreis von Entwicklerinnen, Data Scientists, Produktleuten und Neugierigen, die sich regelmässig über künstliche Intelligenz austauschen.
Ab August 2026 organisieren wir ein leicht angepasstes Format: AI@iRIX. Denn nur ein Format passt leider nicht für alle. Die einen können abends nicht weg, die anderen diskutieren lieber über den Mittag, und wieder andere lesen lieber in Ruhe nach. Darum gibt es ab sofort drei Gefässe, die sich monatlich abwechseln.
🍻 AI-Stammtisch Basel
Abendveranstaltung mit Input und Diskussion wie bisher. Ein Gastreferat (vieleicht von dir?) oder ein Thema aus unserem Team, danach wird gemeinsam weitergedacht. 17:30 bis 20:00 Uhr, Getränke und Snacks sind da.
🥪 AI-Lunch Basel (Brown Bag)
Offener Austausch über Mittag. Kein Vortrag, keine Vorbereitung, nur ein Thema oder eine konkrete Frage als Aufhänger. Lunch bringt jede und jeder selber mit. 12:00 bis 14:00 Uhr.
📝 AI-Kolumne Basel: Kontextfenster
Ein schriftlicher Beitrag zu einem aktuellen Thema aus der AI-Welt. Fragestellungen, Entdeckungen, Tutorials, Einordnungen. Erscheint auf iRIX Software Engineering AG und als Post auf LinkedIn.

Wir versuchen auch die Wochentage durchzuwechseln, damit möglichst viele mindestens einmal dabei sein können.

Welcome to AI@iRIX
Welcome to the Basel AI community. We are an open circle of developers, data scientists, product people and curious minds who meet regularly to talk about artificial intelligence.
From August 2026 we are running a slightly adapted format: AI@iRIX. Because unfortunately one format alone does not fit everyone. Some can't get away in the evening, others prefer to talk over lunch, and others again would rather read up in peace. That's why there are now three formats that alternate month by month.
🍻 AI Stammtisch Basel
Evening event with a talk and discussion, as before. A guest presentation (maybe yours?) or a topic from our team, followed by thinking it through together. 17:30 to 20:00, drinks and snacks provided.
🥪 AI Lunch Basel (Brown Bag)
Open exchange over lunch. No presentation, no preparation, just a topic or a specific question as a starting point. Everyone brings their own lunch. 12:00 to 14:00.
📝 AI Column Basel: Context Window
A written contribution on a current topic from the world of AI. Questions, discoveries, tutorials, perspectives. Published on iRIX Software Engineering AG and as a post on LinkedIn.
