Walk in Nature - Whitchurch Mill Trail

Join us for a 5.5 mile walk through Whitchurch town and into a trail, where we will explore historical mills along the route.

The paths are a mix of road, sidewalk, and well maintained trails, with one small section being a very wild single pathway trail with nettles surrounding it. Suggestion is to not wear shorts due to this portion of the trail.

We'll start at Whitchurch station (free on street parking on station road; however, may be busy on Sundays), walk in residential areas until we reach the river trail, then continue on the walk which is a mix of a path along the river, in town sidewalks/road, and field walking. Do note, most of the mills are now private residences.

We'll finish at the White Hart Hotel in Whitchurch, where you can either stay for lunch or make your way back to the station.

Well behaved dogs welcome, though if you are planning on staying for lunch please call the pub to confirm dogs are allowed indoors.
