Battery Park Tennis

Hello tennis players! I'm a local 4.0 player.

I wanted to make this group as a way to find casual recreational players in the downtown Bethesda area who want to practice their skills and get some exercise through tennis. Although the group is called battery Park tennis, I may schedule for a different court if Battery Park is already taken.

Whenever I plan to practice at a court, I'll schedule an event as an invitation for any of you to join me. I'd like to mostly focus on up and coming players at the 2.0 to 4.5 skill levels (advanced beginners to advanced intermediate players). I'll specify the skill levels on each event.

I recommend the awesome tennis classes classes at cabin john and rock creek for beginners and there are other meetups for competitive 5.0+ tennis.

I'm not a coach and not good enough or qualified to give high level advice, but I'd be happy to parrot what I've learned from my coaches when asked and be somebody you can hit the ball to while we all work on our technique.

This group is meant to be a positive, low pressure environment where everyone can practice without judgement.
