Coming Back to Ourselves: Determining What Gives Us Energy
Details
Hi everyone!
I’m inspired by the event I hosted on Monday. 7 beautiful people including me came together to talk about our own life experiences and there was a sense of community and connection built within an hour.
I want to host another event at Milpitas Library. I booked a room that accommodates 4-12 people. So this time around, there is more of an opportunity for more people to join if they’re interested.
I really enjoy doing introspective work so I thought that something we could think about and share is what drains us vs. what gives us energy.
Examples of “Energy Givers” are:
Nature, resting, sunlight, courage, positivity, gratitude, community, compassion, eating whole foods
Examples of “Energy Takers” are:
Lack of rest, speaking badly of others, unkindness, judgment, being critical/hard on ourselves,
In the session together, I’d love to bring those who are interested to share more about their life experiences. We listen deeply to each other and build a sense of understanding and space for one another.
I’ve found that in the past Monday session, there was a lot of humor when it came to talking about hard stuff. And a sense of connection was naturally built.
I’m hoping to continue this kind of energy in this upcoming session.
There are two options for the time of the session:
6-7pm or 7pm-8pm. 6:30pm-7:30pm could work too. If you are interested in joining and have a preference, please answer the question that’s posted once you join. Feel free to leave any comments or message me with any questions.
Thank you!
