Moving Through vs. Bypassing Emotions Session
Details
Hi everyone,
I hosted 2 previous intimate sessions where I gathered those interested in introspective work together. We shared more about our life experiences, collaborated with each other through deep listening and reflective sharings, and built a really beautiful, wholesome hour to connecting.
Excuse all the words.
I want to have this kind of continuity by hosting a kind of event/session where strangers come together with whatever they’re going through (good, bad, everything in between) and practice being open in a space that feels safe.
The topic of this session will be about the practice of moving through and processing our emotions, especially the more difficult ones.
Often times, there are distractions we can redirect our attention to which can be helpful. However, it can be a form of bypassing. We’ll share and explore more of what it looks like to move through them in a way that feels most healthy and helpful to us individually. Being in a group/community setting allows us to share and connect in a more authentic and deep way.
Please feel free to leave a comment or message me if you have any questions.
Previous events I hosted similar to this: Gratitude Session and “What gives us energy” Session
