Autistic Addiction Recovery Peer Support Group

One-third of autistic people experience addiction. Many recovery groups are designed for neurotypical social standards, which may fail autistic people. The BAAC recovery group is designed exclusively for autistic adults.

We meet on the SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH.

Our facilitator, Bird, is a trans-autistic person in their fifth year of sobriety.

Zoom provides closed captions. We are actively seeking funds to provide ASL/CART for our groups. However, we are a very small organization working on a shoestring. Translators add costs and take time to arrange, and, simply put, we do not have the funds to provide them on demand 100% of the time. Therefore, ASL/CART requests must be received at least 48 hours before the group meeting you plan to attend so we can do our best to meet your needs. Thank you for your understanding.
