Bayesian logistic regression, continued

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to host this month’s BAB meeting at my company’s office. We’re keeping the RSVP list short for space reasons, and also to promote discussion and active participation in the working group.

For those of you who did not get a spot, but would like to attend, please add your name to the waiting list. It is possible that we could hold a second meeting on the same topic for those who can’t make it to Tuesday’s meeting. Obviously, the length of the waiting list would help us to make that determination. Going forward, it is possible we could offer two meetings each month in the first place, and let people pick ONE to attend.

For those of you who ARE coming:

1. Please remember to bring a laptop, with R. Co-organizer Joel has kindly agreed to lead us through another round of Bayesian logistic regression work. Hopefully, everyone will leave with some code. I think we’ll try to post some, or all, of the code here on the board so people who couldn’t come can take a look at what we did.

2. Do you want pizza? I will happily order a couple pizzas if everyone is willing to kick in some $ to cover the cost. Email me at lelandburrill@gmail.com if you want a meatless option so I can have that information. Going forward, it does not have to always be pizza either. There are many other options.

3. The address is 234 Front Street, third floor, very close to Embarcadero Center, where there is parking, and 2 short blocks from Embarcadero BART. For those coming by CalTrain, catch any of the MUNI lines next to CalTrain going to Embarcadero Station.

Please use the call box at the door for Upstream Software, or call me on my cell number which I will tape to the door and I will buzz you in. You cannot use the elevator or access the stairs without a badge so I will come down myself to bring you up.
