Join us for our next Bay Area Bitcoin Series, where we’ll dig into Lightning, focusing on payment channels! This event is a great opportunity for those familiar with Bitcoin transactions to learn how payment channels are constructed on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. We’ll learn about things such as timelocks, revocation paths, HTLCs, and more. This will be an interactive discussion guided by a PowerPoint filled with 99.99% diagrams! We won’t look at any code, so don’t worry if that’s not your expertise.
We'll aim to strike a balance between diving into the nitty-gritty details (like Bitcoin Script) and keeping things high-level enough for general Bitcoin enthusiasts to follow along. Let’s see how well we can pull it off! Regardless of your level of expertise, you're guaranteed to learn something new.
