When we began this journey a little more than a dozen years ago – we believed that the practice of what we call "content marketing" would, at some point, be subsumed into the overall marketing operation for most businesses.

But as it turns out, our story has quite the twist. In fact, it’s quite the other way around. As we enter 2024, the roles, responsibilities, processes and measurement of the entirety of marketing has become how it can operate like a media company.

This transformation has shifted the focus of marketing from simply driving sales, to completely redefining what a customer is and building strong audience relationships.

This is the theme of Robert’s new book – Content Marketing Strategy.

This session will explore some of the challenges covered in the book such as the changing roles, responsibilities, processes, and measurements of modern marketing, and discover how content marketing has become the new driving force behind successful business strategies.
