***The Comprehensive BADASS FAQ***
**I don't see anyone here?**
Check the meetup post for detail (we alternate in the summer). Look out for dodgeball equipment at the park (bags of foam balls and pool noodles).
We typically meet up on Tuesday at 7:15 PM.
We should be playing in between the Soccer Field and the Skateboard Park on the south side of Fair Oaks Park in Sunnyvale most days, due to the lighting there.
When daylight permits during the summer, we typically play games in Eagle Park in Mountain View, on the grass adjacent to High School Way.
**I see other people looking for dodgeball but no equipment? When do games being?**
Check the Meetup or Discord comments. Organizers try to arrive at the meetup at 7:15, but may post messages online if they are running late.
After organizers arrive, we will socialize for a few minutes before starting warm up exercises. After completing warm ups/stretching and a brief introduction, we start to play a series of dodgeball games.
**How safe is this?**
We run things a bit differently from that dodgeball movie LOL. We throw No-Sting foam balls, foam frisbees, and soft pool noodles at each other. Headshots do not count as hits in matches.
Watch out for personal space, as there is a risk of getting elbowed, bumped into, etc. in vigorous games.
If you have any concerns you would like addressed more confidentially, please DM Gabe, Kirby, Sam F, or Brianna about the situation and how we can help.
**Do I need cleats?**
Cleats will help you slip less on the grass. They are not really necessary, but they do help.
Note: If one does wear cleats, try not to step on anyone's toes (literally)
