Meet & Greet at Fibbar Magee's in Sunnyvale

Regardless of whether anyone is unavailable to see Good Boy with Bay Area Ghost Hunters, everyone is still welcome for dinner. Please join us at Fibbar Magee's on haunted Murphy Street in Sunnyvale.
This Irish pub is a half block away from the Sunnyvale Caltrain station. All of the original depots along the Caltrain route between Gilroy and San Francisco now seem to be surrounded by haunted neighborhoods. Established as the San Francisco & San Jose Railroad in 1860, it was procured by Southern Pacific in 1870 then turned over to Caltrans in 1980. While seven of the original depot structures survive, the one in Sunnyvale has been redeveloped. However, the neighborhood ghosts remain. Murphy Street, formerly known as Main Street, grew as a retail hub for the immediate locale and many of the original structures are still standing—albeit being repurposed.
Sunnyvale was settled by the Murphy family in the 1850s and attracted the paranormal community’s attention back in the early 1980s when the ABC-TV series That’s Incredible! aired a segment on the haunting of its Toy R Us store on El Camino Real. That case has been well profiled, but Sunnyvale ghosts spread farther than that, particularly around the nearby train station.
Fibbar Magee’s is a half block away from the Sunnyvale depot. It was established in 1994 and continues to flourish. Staff has confirmed some paranormal activity, claiming they would hear their names called during the pub’s quieter moments with no one else around as the source.
It’s little to go on, but it’s a start. We’ll stop here after watching Good Boy to dissect the movie and socialize. Dinner will be Dutch treat.
