Aloha vacationers ! Don't miss my final events & adventures . If you are new to the floundering new meetup , you have already missed over ( 1575) unique experiences !!! So when I hike off into the retirement sunset soon , my secret -places go with me !!
******* We will meet at the Petaluma library in the lot across for parking.
*******We will carpool from here. There is one other way to get to the Shell beach parking lot . I'll tell you later. (Shell beach is 1 beach South of the Goat Rock entrance. Its well marked off Hwy One.
OK: its supposed to be 70 degrees & very low winds. PERFECT !
The trek is only about 3-4 miles & some cliff scrambling to the caves & beach .*** No long boring walks, just great photos & adventure!
*** Bring a lunch, a jacket , just in case, & i;ll have lots of drinks & water & unique snacks for all !!! Hiking poles, also. Some of the trails are on raised boardwalks .
*** We should have time to make a short car trip after , to the RUSSIAN RIVER , & observe all the amazing wildlife that congregates at one part of the river at the ocean. It's quite a gathering ! *** I have a hidden trail that takes us down to the beach !
******If we have time , just across the river bridge is a new cool eatery above the river with awesome views. (Gilly's good food Roadhouse) !!!
