Anyone who has good health, workout regularly, can hiking/walking minimum 5 miles with out health issues are welcome. Hiking, walking in the park, outdoors, you name it. But each individual hike meetup might have different level of difficulties, so please check with the event description/and organizers before you join the hike. For example, the Sunday afternoon Wunderlich County Park hike is an intermediate hike, you should be in shape to hike for about 5 miles with elevation gain of 800 feet. If you feel you want some less difficult hike, you can contact the host, become an organizer and start your own hike meetup.

Wednesday afternoon Hike at Wunderlich County Park

Hello everyone let's meet up and go on a hike, enjoy the nature and the beauty of the mountains.

Wunderlich County Park is an easy little escape on the Peninsula. Located in the iconic Silicon Valley town of Woodside, Wunderlich County Park offers 8 moderate trails in Wunderlich County Park ranging from 3.2 to 10.7 miles and from 488 to 2,283 feet above sea level. https://www.alltrails.com/parks/us/california/wunderlich-county-park

Though our hikes vary a bit from week to week, attendees should plan to hike 4.5-6 miles with approx 800-1,000 ft elevation gain.

Please meet at the picnic area near the main parking lot/trailhead and restrooms at 2:00pm and we'll start to hike at 2:15pm.
note: Mark and Katie may not be there sometimes but please just meet and greet fellow members and start without him.

The parking lot has limited parking spaces but is free.

*We are an intermediate hike group. Please be ready to keep up hiking with us from 5 miles to 8 miles without any health issues. If you don't workout, hiking a minimum 5 miles regularly, this hiking event maybe is not a good fit for you.

*Please RSVP if you plan to attend and don't just walk in. Thank you for your cooperation!

*Rain cancels the event.

*DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.

*We will follow CDC guidelines, protocol to practice social or physical distancing, everyone must wear a mask, stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) to 10 feet (go up the mountains) from other people who are not from your household in outdoor spaces, Allow other people 6 feet of space when you pass by them in hike trials and want you to feel safe and healthy.

Friday afternoon walk in Fremont Central park/Lake Elizabeth

Hello everyone let's meet up and go on a walk in Fremont Central park/Lake Elizabeth Friday afternoon, enjoy the nature and the lake. We'll meet at the end of parking from the main parking entry of the sports complex/baseball park, @ 4pm, we'll start to walk at 4:15pm. I might not be able to make it sometimes, so just meet and greet fellow members.

That address is the main parking entry of the sports complex/ baseball park, on Stevenson Blvd between tennis center and the police department, very quiet,less crowded, and near the trail. We meet the last, end parking area near the trail and the lake.

Friday afternoon walk at State Capitol Park Sacramento

Hello everyone, State Capitol Park is good place to have a casual relaxing walk in Friday afternoon, explore the state capital and down town Sacramento, like Stanford house, museums, etc.

Let's meet @4:00pm in the peace pavilion at State Capitol Park Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is located on the back side of the state capital building. check it on google map if you need directions. We'll start to hike at 4:15pm. Stay after hike for the sunset also is a good option. There are several trails we can choose, from the link below, or get a map from the visitor center.

Friday evening at beach, Social Distancing walk see Beautiful Sunset Healing Sea

Hello everyone, Let's meet up go for a Social Distancing walking at the beach 5-8 miles, enjoy fresh ocean air, the Beautiful Sunset and Healing Sea for our physical health and mental well-being😇 Meeting new friends and get a good workout together. I will no be there sometimes, please just meet and greet fellow members and start without me.

If the parking lot is full, nearby side streets still open for parking are free, but please double check the street and all parking signs. Try to get there a little early to avoid 17 traffic, find a parking space, so you'll be on time for a 6pm walk.

We are an intermediate walk/hike group. Everyone must wear a mask and practice social distance 6 to 10 feet (at beach breathing fresh ocean air), stay healthy and safe. Please be ready to keep up walking with us from 5 miles to 8 miles without any health issues. If you don't workout, walking/hiking minimum 5-8 miles regularly, this walking event is not a good fit for you
