Pinnacles National Park is an American national park protecting a mountainous area located in CA... about five miles east of Soledad and 80 miles southeast of San Jose

Born of Fire: Some 23 million years ago multiple volcanoes erupted, flowed, and slid to form what would become Pinnacles National Park. What remains is a unique landscape. Hikers enter rare talus caves and emerge to towering rock spires teeming with life: prairie and peregrine falcons, golden eagles, and the inspiring California condor.

2. Legal Stuff (aka the Fine Print):
By signing up, you're saying ā€œI’ve got this!ā€ and agreeing not to hold the host, organizer, or fellow hikers responsible for any boo-boos, blisters, or surprises from Mother Nature. You’re fully in charge of your own health and safety out there.
3. Just So We're Clear:
This hike is a DIY adventure. We’re here for the fun, but not liable for any injuries, lost sunglasses, or unexpected squirrel encounters. Hike smart, stay safe, and bring your best judgment.
4. Trails Are Wild – Literally:
Participation in this event is strictly voluntary. The event host/organizer assumes no responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss you may incur. You join and hike entirely at your own risk.
*Hike at YOUR OWN RISK. Open trails aren't necessarily free of hazards--by entering the wilderness, you assume responsibility for your safety and must use good judgment.
Nature doesn’t come with warning signs. So please be prepared, stay alert, and hike at your own risk. That’s part of the adventure!
5. RSVP = Really Serious Very Practical:
For group safety, everyone must answer the RSVP question honestly. If you can’t confirm you’re in good health and able to do 7-8 miles without any issues, we CANNOT approve you for this hike. Gotta keep the crew strong and safe!

*We are an intermediate hike group. Please be ready to keep up hiking with us from 7-8 miles without any health issues.

See you on the trail—with water, snacks, and a smile for miles!
*Please don't just walk in. Thank you for your cooperation!
