Please join me for my next house concert featuring Diana Gameros. This concert is 13 years in the making, a sweet story I'll share with you on the night of the show. I am incredibly honored to host this notable, celebrated Bay Area artist in my home! This will surely be a magical evening.

Diana Gameros is a singer, guitarist, pianist, composer, songwriter, lead teaching artist with the Lullaby Project, and a core member of the Immigrant Orchestra. Born and raised in Juárez, México, she immigrated to the United States as a teenager. Over the last decade in the Bay Area, she has released three albums featuring original songs in Spanish and English, as well as interpretations of Mexican classics; has been recognized multiple times by NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest; and was the subject of a documentary film released by KQED in 2020. Her music tells stories of family, migration, and home, and has led her to perform alongside prominent artists such as Joan Baez, Natalia Lafourcade, and the San Francisco Symphony. Diana received the 2023 Music Award Grant from the Gerbode Foundation to record her latest album, Volver a la Luz (Return to the light), with songs that acknowledge our personal and collective grief, but also inspire and invite us: to turn toward the sun, the stars, to remember the light already living within us and to let it guide us toward our true liberation and peace. On April 11, Diana will perform solo, on guitar, vocals, and piano.

As is custom with house concerts, please bring a beverage, appetizer or dessert to share. But please, NO RED WINE to save my carpet from that after-show blush!
