This is a group for System Administrators, Developers and anyone interested in automating IT infrastructure and the surrounding ecosystem.
Based in the Bay Area, we'll get together to build and foster a community around Infrastructure Coding and other DevOps concepts. Designing and writing quality automation is more than just a tool. It's understanding your environment, your culture and what you need to create a functioning, automated ecosystem.
We'll discuss and demo Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc), Virtualization Automation (VMware, Docker, Vagrant) and enabling Continuous Delivery, hopefully branching beyond tooling debates into thoughtful discussions on strategy and techniques for writing beautiful automation as well as enabling others in your organization to do the same.
