About us
We are an SF Bay Area queer Argentine tango organization that offers weekly queer tango classes, weekly practicas, and a monthly milonga (social dance).
Abrazo Queer Tango is dedicated to growing and supporting Bay Area Queer, trans and non-binary tango dancers, and we welcome everyone interested in an inclusive dance space to join us. We host events at the Finnish Hall in Berkeley on Sundays, and third Saturdays.
No partner or experience needed for our beginner classes. Come dance into happy with us!

This is a fun, no-pressure class on the fundamentals of Argentine Tango for social dancing. We start each class with the basics of walking and embrace to get everyone off to a solid start with this beautiful walking dance and then move into our theme of the month. While classes are not progressing, we do build on skills during the month.During the practice hour after class, you are welcome to stay and dance, practice, socialize and ask questions.
WE ARE a community of queer, trans, non-binary and unicorn dancers, and all kindred humans are welcome to join us.
