Beginner Queer Tango Series in December

Everything beautiful about being alive is found in queer tango. We invite you to come dance with us in December

No partner or experience needed. Absolute beginner's welcome. This is a fun, no pressure class where you will learn the basics of Argentine Tango with supportive teachers.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Sunday 12/7, 14, 21, 28 and Saturday 12/20

Sundays
3:15-3:30 : check in
3:30-4:30: Beginner Class
4:30-5:30: practice, socialize, tea and treats

Saturday 12/20
6-7 pm Beginner Class
7-10 optional dance party -- practice your new moves and meet people!

MORE ABOUT THE SERIES
This is a fun, no-pressure class on the fundamentals of Argentine Tango for social dancing. We start each class with the basics of walking and embrace to get everyone off to a solid start with this beautiful walking dance and then move into our theme/topic of the month. Our series also includes a dance party to practice what you've been learning!

Each week, we will review what we covered the week prior before moving on to new concepts and material – so you will have plenty of time to practice and ask questions each week.

We recommend taking a full month-long series, but missing a class is cool too. We can catch you up during the review.

During the practice hour after class, you are free to practice what you learned in class, ask questions, and socialize.

WE ARE a community of queer, trans, non-binary and unicorn dancers, and all kindred humans who want to raise the roof with us are welcome to join us.

$60 Students with ID presented at first class (otherwise full price is due.)
