Every Thursday, Venerable XianPu, a Buddhist nun who has led this group for over a year, guides a Chan meditation workshop hosted from San Francisco — open to anyone joining from home, with a growing group of regular practitioners from around the world.
Chan trains focus the way physical exercise trains the body — the same discipline that sharpens concentration, patience, and resilience under pressure also carries directly into how you show up at work. Whether you're navigating a demanding job or simply want a clearer mind, these sessions build that capacity week by week.

Ven. XianPu brings a practical approach to the group, and the space is open to sharing what's on your mind and getting support from others doing the same practice. You can join at any point in the month, even if you haven't attended before.
What to Expect:

  • Learn effective Chan meditation techniques for stress relief and mental clarity
  • Build the focus and steadiness that carry over into daily performance
  • Practice in a supportive group, guided by Ven. XianPu

"Chan Buddhism has made a profound difference in my life. I feel calmer and more alert, even under pressure. I'm developing patience, which has always been my greatest challenge." —Emily
