This is an introduction to self defense, from an energy standpoint. It is the first in a series of presentations designed to provide you with practical knowledge of how to stay safe both energetically and physically.

What will we cover?

o The basic philosophies of personal safety
o Coming from power, vs. coming from protection
o It isn’t about strength – it’s about tactics and methods.
o Shifting your energy, making you less of a target
o Awareness: A lost art
o Overview of tactics training
o Overview of methods training
o Martial arts and self defense – they are quite different

What will you walk away with?

o A strong understanding of personal safety and common mistakes
o A handful of tactics designed to greatly improve your odds
o Background information for obtaining additional training

Donation $10. 18+ only. The goal of this first presentation is to educate, with very little demonstration and no physical training.

Presented by Brian Rainie with Intuitive Methodologies. Brian has achieved master level in both Martial Arts and Healing Arts. He received a California Teaching Credential for Adult Education, taught classes in the corporate environment for 20+ years, focuses on methods that honor each student’s unique learning style, and believes classroom safety is the number 1 priority. Regarding energy work, he has 45+ years experience and has been actively teaching for over 30 years. He is on the board of directors of both the Han Moo Kwan Association as well as the Moto-Ki Association. He is a certified Reiki master, as well as holding ranks in multiple martial art forms. His specialty is energy-based methods based on power (MotoKi). Your experience of his techniques will be anything but "subtle".
