A Sacred Gathering of Balance, Renewal & Ancestral Remembrance

On this sacred turning of the Sun, when light and darkness stand in perfect balance, we gather in ceremony to honor the ancient rhythms of the Earth and the wisdom carried through Mesoamerican traditions.
The Spring Equinox was observed with great reverence by the Maya and other Indigenous peoples of these lands, who aligned temples and pyramids with the movement of the Sun as a reflection of cosmic order. This sacred threshold invites us into harmony — within ourselves and with all of creation.
In this ceremonial circle, we will sit with mamá cacao — revered by the Maya as a sacred gift from the divine, a plant spirit of the heart used in ritual, prayer, and community gatherings to cultivate clarity, unity, and spiritual awakening.

Guided by ancestral remembrance, we will journey through:

🌬️ Breathwork to ignite inner fire and clear stagnant energy
🔔 Sound Healing with drum, rattle, voice & sacred instruments, and medicine songs
🔥 Sacred Fire Ritual for release, prayer, and intention

🌑 Shamanic Meditation & Community Sharing

During this ceremony we will consciously work with the Four Bodies:

✨ The Physical Body — honoring the temple of the Earth within us
✨ The Emotional Body — allowing the waters to move and cleanse
✨ The Mental Body — bringing clarity, vision, and renewed perspective
✨ The Spiritual Body — remembering our connection to Source and Spirit

Through breath, vibration, cacao, and sacred fire, we harmonize these four aspects of self — restoring balance just as the Sun restores balance between day and night.
The Sacred Fire will serve as a living altar — a portal of transformation. Into the flames we will offer prayers, what we are ready to release, and the seeds of what we are calling forward. Fire transmutes. Fire purifies. Fire illuminates.
The drumbeat echoes the heartbeat of Mother Earth.
The breath becomes the bridge between worlds.
The fire becomes the witness to our becoming.

Please bring:
– A journal
– A small offering for the altar (flowers, seeds, corn, cacao, tobacco, fruits, etc. all the offerings will be shared at the end)
– A written prayer or intention (optional)
– Comfortable clothing and yoga mat or meditation cushion, a mug for your cacao, and your water bottle.
– An open and respectful heart
May we gather in sacred reciprocity.
May we remember the wisdom carried in our bones.
May we walk forward in balance — as children of the Sun and Earth.
