Join us for an experiential mushroom medicine-making class in Berkeley with Ryath. We will focus our experience and teachings on the essential at-home techniques used to make a diversity of medicinal forms: liquids, powders, and topicals. The species we'll be working with will include Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Fomitopsis, Turkey Tail, and Cordyceps and the skills you will learn can be applied to any mushrooms you desire! Additionally, our co-created conversations will focus on why we use the techniques we do and cover topics such as traditional uses, chemistry, cultivation, foraging, and preservation as we make medicine together. Take home a 1oz tin of medicinal salve you help make.
