š WELCOME TO OUR 9TH ANNUAL ANGEL ISLAND DAY!
A day of fun, food, libations, and great conversationāset in one of the most spectacular locations in the Bay Area!
šÆ 3 AMAZING WAYS TO ENJOY THE DAY
š„¾ 1. The Grand Perimeter Hike (Approx. 6 miles)
Join the main crew for an epic loop around the island! Along the way, weāll:
- Sip wine and snack mid-hike
- Stroll past Camp Reynolds (West Garrison), the historic Immigration Station, and buildings dating back to the Civil War
- Take in stunning vistas of Richmond, Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and the Bay Bridge
ā¤ļø This is the heart of the dayāa chance to move, laugh, and reconnect with old friends (or make a few new ones).
šļø 2. The Chill Quarry Beach Hike (Approx. 3.5 miles round trip)
Prefer a lighter walk? This scenic route hits historic highlights and ends at beautiful Quarry Beachāperfect for sunbathing, vino sipping, and pure relaxation.
š“ 3. Lounge Mode: Activated (Approx. 0 miles)
Not feeling the hike? Totally fine. Kick back at the smaller beach near our picnic siteānap under the trees, sip something cold, or chat with friends in the shade. No hiking boots required.
š Choose your own adventure once you're on the island! No wrong way to enjoy itājust donāt forget your camera!
šÆ THE BIG GROUP HANG
When the hikes are done, weāll all gather at the picnic site for a lively potluck lunch, refreshing drinks, sing-along karaoke, spontaneous line dancing, and all-around good vibes.
šWHAT TO BRING
š„¾ For the Hike or Beach Stop:
- Water (hydration is happiness!)
- Tasty snacks, dips, deli bites to share
- Optional: a bottle of wine to share on the trail
š„ For the Potluck Lunch (items stay at the picnic site; some folks will hang back and watch them):

Some suggestions for what to bring:
- š„Ŗ Sandwiches, wraps, deli meats
- š§ Hummus, ethnic favorites, sushi
- š§ Cheeses, breads, salads

- š§ Beer, wine, soda, juice, or a case of water to share
- š§ A cooler with ice for your own items
- š§ Dont forget to bring enough water for yourself for the hike and for the rest of the day!
š½ļø Weāll have plates, napkins, cups, and utensils ready for youāhuge thanks to our generous member donations! š
šļø For the Beach: A few blankets or towels to spread out and chill
š Clothing & Essentials:
⢠Layers for sun and breeze (especially on the ferry)
⢠Sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, towel
⢠Comfy shoes for hiking

Youāll need to buy your own ferry tickets from SF or Tiburon (round-trip).

š¶ WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT ANGEL ISLAND
Look for our sparkly green streamers once you exit the ferry, then turn right. Weāll gather just past the open field at the picnic tables. Quick intros start at 11:00 AM, then weāre off on our hikes!

- Pre-Ferry Coffee Meetup: Fuel up with us at CafĆ© Acri (1 Main St, Tiburon)ājust steps from the ferry.
- Post-Island Drinks/Dinner: After the ferry back, some of us keep the party going in Tiburon. Youāre totally invited!
