Let’s wind down summer with a casual evening of good food and great conversation on the garden patio (heated) at Mazra, a cozy Mediterranean gem in downtown Redwood City.

This local favorite is the brainchild of brothers Jordan and Saif Makableh, who created Mazra—Arabic for “farm”—to share the bold, vibrant flavors of their Jordanian roots and honor their family’s rich culinary heritage with warm, welcoming hospitality.

We’ll be seated on their (heated) garden patio once our full group arrives, so please plan to get there by 5:45 PM to help make it as smooth as possible. (And yes, that means leaving a little extra time to find parking!)

💵 How it works:
Mazra uses a QR code for ordering—easy and efficient. Everyone orders and pays individually, so no awkward check splitting.

🍽️ Menu preview & vibe check:
Expect grilled meats, kebabs, falafel, vibrant salads, wraps, house-made sides, and plenty of vegetarian options. You can get a feel for the menu at eatmazra.com or on Yelp. Mazra does not serve alcohol, but you’re welcome to bring your own wine or beer. A $7 corkage fee per drinking guest applies.

🚙 Getting there & parking tips:
• Street parking can be tight, so give yourself time to find a spot.
• Public garages are close by (like Jefferson & Marshall).
