š®Before the excitement of Lunar New Year parade in the city, join us for a relaxed and intimate Chinese New Year dinner in the heart of Chinatown! Weāll gather at Great Eastern Restaurant, a longtime local favorite known for its excellent dim sum and classic Cantonese dishes.
Whether youāre attending the parade or are simply meeting us for dinner, youāre warmly welcome to join the table as we celebrate the Year of the Horse together. š

Weāll have a shared, social meal, perfect for sampling a variety of dishes and enjoying good conversation.
š Dinner Time: 4:30 -6:00 PM
Weāll head to dinner early, before the parade and the crowds, and get seated at 4:30 PM. Look for our sparkly green streamers and your hosts, Leah and Sylvie, who will be wearing colorful bead necklaces.
Some attendees will be going to the Chinese New Year Parade after, but youāre welcome to join us for dinner even if you didnāt attend the parade.

š Getting There (Highly Recommended)
Parking in Chinatown is limited and expensive, so public transit is strongly encouraged.
BART:

From Montgomery Station, Chinatown is about a 15 minute walk straight up Montgomery to California (.4 miles), then 1-1/2 blocks to the restaurant.

Important RSVP Notes
Because we are making restaurant reservations:
- Please give at least 24 hoursā notice if your plans change.
- All attendees must reconfirm with the hosts the day before the event so we can provide an accurate headcount to the restaurant.
This helps us be respectful guests and ensures the restaurant can accommodate our group smoothly.
