OWASP Bay Area is launching a mentorship program to match university students and those new to the application security field with established AppSec professionals.

This is different from our normal meetings and is specifically targeted for mentors and mentees in the security program.

Event Format

• Brief panel with security professionals on how they navigated their security careers

• 1on1 Speed discussions - mentors and mentees chat for 3 minutes then rotate

• Breakout sessions - what tools, resources, knowledge are most desired by mentees. How can mentors and OWASP provide that knowledge
