Meetup at Britex, Sewcialize + Shop!

Come to Britex Fabrics, meet other sewists, sewcialize, and shop!

This San Francisco institution has been a sewing destination since 1952. You'll find fabrics from all over the world. We'll get an overview of their fabrics and Britex staff will be on hand to answer questions. Feel free to submit questions when you RSVP.

Feel free to wear something you made. If you’d like to find out where other sewists are from, please arrive on time or you will miss the introductions.

RSVPs are also open on Pie. You are welcome to RSVP there if this fills up.

Agenda
2:30 to 2:45 pm - Introductions - everyone will have a chance to introduce themselves. You can find out who is in your area/city.
2:45 pm to 3:05 pm - Brief overview of fabrics and Britex staff will answer questions, followed by group photo
3:05-4:00 pm - Sewcialize and shop!

You are welcome to bring your patterns or WIPs so you can find the perfect fabric for your projects.

NOTE: We also have a holiday happy hour event after this meetup at 4:30 pm in San Francisco at Toy Soldier - about a 5-minute walk from Britex. RSVP here to attend.

Getting to Britex:
Public transportation: The store is less than two blocks from the Montgomery St. BART stop.
Parking: There is metered street parking on Post. The store is two blocks from the following parking garages: Union Square Garage on Geary at Stockton, The White House Garage on Kearny at Sutter, Sutter/Stockton Garage at Sutter at Stockton.
