🌿 A Friendly Reminder from Your Host 🌿
Hi Everyone!
Just a quick note as we continue enjoying hikes, nature, and meals together as a community. These events are organized voluntarily, with a lot of care and heart — and I'm truly happy to see so many of you return and bring great energy to the group!
💡Please remember: Participation is completely voluntary.
🥾Trails are part of Mother Nature — sometimes rocky, sometimes windy, always full of surprises. 😊
🍲🍜Dinner spots are chosen for convenience and availability. Everyone’s taste is different, so please come with an open mind.
📵Phone service can be unreliable at trailheads, so double-check directions and arrive early if possible.
✨ I kindly ask everyone to bring a positive attitude, patience, and flexibility. Not everything will go perfectly — and that’s okay. What matters most is the shared experience, social, fresh air, and kindness to one another.
Thank you for being here and helping create a warm, kind and respectful community🌷
Let’s continue building a respectful and positive space for all 🌿
Yours in good health, Dr. Heidi💝💚
"No Trolling or Disruptive Behavior" Rule:
We welcome positive, respectful participation. Trolling, disruptive behavior, or posting negative comments about event requested contributions, fees, logistics, or organizer decisions will result in removal from the group.
A small event contribution fee helps cover organizing costs. If you don’t agree with the contribution fee or the event, please simply skip it. Negative or disruptive comments may result in removal from the Club.

Hello Nature Lovers, Let's meet new friends go for a green exercise hike, enjoy redwoods tress and most shady trails, no bikes and no dogs, just us hiking together, with fresh mountain air, water falls, for our physical health and mental well-being😇
It’s no secret that some of the best redwood trails are located on the Central Coast. But while a few of the parks like Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park attract big crowds, there are others that you might have never even heard of before. Portola Redwoods State Park is one of those hidden gems!
Portola Redwoods State Park is a wonderful place to escape the summer heat. With a dense forest and 50 inches of rainfall per year, the trails within this park stay cool even when the summer temperatures start picking up.
The park's 2,800 acres drops from a ridgetop into a deeply shaded redwood forest, offering a hushed getaway from the suburban bustle of nearby Silicon Valley and the South Bay Area. The visitor center, with its couches and fireplace, feels like a wilderness lodge. Eighteen miles of trails follow meandering creeks, where moisture-loving coast redwoods stand tall among ferns and huckleberries. Waterfalls on Fall and Pescadero creeks tumble down mossy banks over rocks and woody debris.
It's tucked away in a remote mountain forest that can be difficult to reach. The windy Road is the only road that goes in and out of the park. The drive to Portola SP can be a bit nerve-wracking as you’ll need to drive along several narrow mountain roads with steep drop-offs below.
The Iverson Trail to Tiptoe Falls offers a serene and picturesque hike. Starting with a crossing over the Pescadero Creek, the trail follows a flowing stream surrounded by lush, beautiful ferns. As you continue, the creek winds through a small meadow, providing a peaceful setting before reaching the lower tier of Tiptoe Falls. Be cautious, as some sections of the trail can be slippery.

Hello Ocean Lovers, Let's meet new friends for a🎄Green Exercise, Social Hike, Rodeo Beach-Point Bonita Lighthouse hike, enjoy fresh ocean air, the Beautiful Ocean View and Healing Sea for our physical health and Mental Well-being😇
Rodeo Beach is a wide pebble beach on the sand spit that separates Rodeo Lagoon from Rodeo Cove on the west side of the Marin Headlands in Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The beach is dark colored and made up of small pebbly stones in brown, red, green, and blue. Rodeo Beach is a popular spot as it is close to San Francisco and has easy access for both locals and tourists.
Point Bonita Lighthouse is a lighthouse located at Point Bonita at the San Francisco Bay entrance in the Marin Headlands near Sausalito, California. Point Bonita was the last manned lighthouse on the California coast. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
Yes, this lighthouse at the southwest tip of the Marin Headlands is still active and maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard. Getting there is a challenge, parking is limited and the 0.5-mile walk is steep and precarious. This spot, at the “world’s end,” is ruggedly beautiful. Nearby, old army buildings are used for environmental education programs.Try this 5 mile loop trail near Sausalito, California. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 50 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
