Lunch in the South Bay

Hi everyone,
Bad luck! Looks like there will be rain 1-4 pm. So we need to change our plans of having a potluck outside. Let's convene instead at a Turkish restaurant called "Taverna Bistro", which is 4 mins away from Washington park. We have a reservation for 14 people, so there should be plenty of space. The restaurant is on the historic Murphy St, and there is a large parking lot just south of it.

Apologies for the change, but we got unlucky with the weather. We will aim to make another try at the picnic in Washington park at a different time.

"Long time no see! We would like to get together at Washington Park, in Sunnyvale for a potluck/picnic. Apparently, from November to March all the picnic areas in this park are first come, first serve. So, we will convene at the picnic area #2 which is next to the playground. If it is not available, we will just move to an available area. Bring a dish to share (we don't plan to BBQ, so don't bring raw meat :) No worries if you don't have time to bring any food, as there should be plenty. Frisbee, soccer/volleyball and tavla are welcome!
