Come climb with Bay Area Vegans!

Climbing at Great Western Power Company and Vegan Pizza afterward at The Hatch!

All levels of Vegan Climbers and Vegan-Curious welcome.

We’ll meet inside in the bouldering area at 7 pm for introductions. Pair up for top roping or just hang in groups in the bouldering area.

If you arrive late, look for the guy with a beard and long hair or just ask for the vegans. Also, if you just want to join us for pizza, we’ll head over to The Hatch around 9:00ish.

The day pass at GWPC is $30.

If a member wants to offer one of their guest discount passes ($20) or free for the first Friday of the month; let folks know in the chat.

The shoes, harness, and belay device rental package is $5 or $4 for just shoes.

If you can’t make it this time, please join the group for future meetups, and feel free to suggest other times. I’ll be organizing events in the South Bay, in San Francisco, and to some local crags soon as well. Also, I hope to plan the first vegan climbers camping trip soon.

I’d love to hear about good places to bring kids to climb outdoors. (Lower Guadalupe Rock is my favorite later in the summer when the water level goes down.)
