I'm a reporter based in San Francisco, and my skills include: reportingand writing, photojournalism, graphic design, and data gathering and analysis. I've covered topics as varied as homelessness, campaign finance, housing, education, food culture and health. And I have been published at various outlets including KQED, the SF Bay Guardian, 48 Hills and the San Francisco Public Press.

I have a degree in "Politics" and "Language Studies" from the University of California, Santa Cruz — two areas of study which I loved, but didn't have any tangible career prospects, at least in my mind. So, a couple of years after moving to San Francisco, I started taking journalism and graphic design classes at City College of San Francisco, and haven't looked back since.
