EVENT MOVED TO METREON FOOD COURT.
****I'm sorry for the last-minute update but there's a corporate event in town that's caused a spillover of people at the St. Regis bar so I've moved to the food court at the Metreon, ground floor across from the now-closed Sorabol. Please look for the yellow meetup sign on the table.
Come have a drink and socialize with Bay Area writers at the Metreon food court ground floor tables across from Sorabol food stand in downtown San Francisco. We'll begin with a meet and greet period. Then we'll spotlight journalist Harry Mok, who will talk about his craft and career. After that, let's all share our experiences with the writing life.
Here's a bit about Harry's background:
Harry Mok is a seasoned writer, editor and social media manager with a background in journalism and marketing communications. His news, feature and opinion articles have been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, USA Today, Salon.com, Newsday and other publications.
He's currently an Assistant Opinion Editor and columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. He was a lecturer in journalism at San Francisco State, a Publications Editor for the Center for Asian American Media, and once served as Editor-in-Chief at Hyphen Magazine, an independent Asian American news and culture publication.
